Tina Boercker is a dynamic Buying Team member at Gateway Car Connection, bringing a fresh perspective to the team with her diverse background. Starting with the company in August, Tina quickly transitioned from an Operations Associate role, initially intended to cover for a team member on leave, to a permanent position in the buying department. Her journey from the healthcare field, where she honed her skills in research, management, and customer service, to the automotive industry has been a rewarding challenge. Tina’s knack for precise data entry, time management, and effective communication has made her a valuable asset in pre-screening vehicles and securing leads for Gateway’s purchases. Her adaptability and self-motivation have played a crucial role in witnessing Gateway’s evolution from a retail-based to a wholesale-focused company.
Outside of work, Tina and her husband run a successful short-term rental business and occasionally flip houses. Their goal is to expand their property portfolio across the country, eventually requiring a team to manage it, allowing them more freedom. Tina is passionate about learning everything there is to know about cars and trucks, aiming to secure quick deals to supply vehicles to Gateway’s buyers efficiently. An extrovert by nature, Tina thrives on meeting new people, whether through networking or her love of travel and outdoor adventures. A big foodie, she enjoys exploring St. Louis’s diverse restaurant scene. Tina’s motto, “Win the day,” encapsulates her drive and has been a game-changer for the team’s mentality, pushing them towards greater achievements.
